At Highpoint Church, we are passionate about investing in our most precious gifts: our children! Our heart is for every child to know and love Jesus. Each Sunday, our amazing leaders teach God’s Word using the latest technology, interactive activities and fun games. We want to partner with parents to help build a strong Biblical foundation in their children’s lives and celebrate the role parents play as the primary spiritual influence. Find more information in our newsletter below.

TEACHING GOD'S WORD

WISDOM

John 14:26

He made us, guides us and teaches us truth. We know God will help us make the wise choice.

FAITH

Hebrews 13:8

God is always faithful. He is always with us. God doesn’t change. We know we can trust him no matter what.

FRIENDSHIP

Matthew 7:12

We are intentional about building an environment where friendships can flourish. Jesus said, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

FAQs

What are your safety and security protocols?

Our goal is to create a safe and fun environment for your child. Your child’s safety is a priority at Highpoint Church. Each leader serving in children’s ministry is background checked and trained on our safety procedures and protocols. We also have a “two persons deep” policy to ensure the safety of all children and adults.

Do I check-in/out my child?

Check-in with your child prior to service. Please fill out all the required information at the children’s check-in station so we will be sure to place your child in the age-appropriate classroom and are aware of any medical or allergy-related issues. You will receive two stickers, a name tag for your child as well as a corresponding alphanumeric security sticker for you to keep. You will present the security sticker to pick up your child. If for some reason you lose your sticker, we will need to see a valid driver’s license. We will only dismiss children to an adult with a corresponding sticker or valid driver’s license.

When does drop-off begin?

Drop-off begins at 9:50am at the double-doors to the Children’s Worship Space in the lobby. Please make sure you’ve checked your child in at our check-in station and that your child has their name tag on prior to drop-off. After service is over, you can pick your child up at these same doors!

What does Sunday Morning look like for the children?

Our 6 week olds - 3 year olds are immediately welcomed into our Nursery. This space is designed with them in mind to be a warm, nurturing environment filled with joy and laughter. Children will enjoy a time of worship with songs designed for them with simple movements, watch an age-appropriate Bible lesson, and engage in fun crafts and games that help them learn about God’s love and truth in a fun and meaningful way.

All children PreK (Age 4 as of September 1) - 5th grade will be welcomed into their Children’s Worship space to start off with a fun game or craft from 9:50 am - 10 am. After that, they will begin their own worship service, filled with fun music they know and love and an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Afterwards, they divide into smaller age-based classrooms to continue exploring the day’s lesson through interactive games, creative crafts, and meaningful discussions that are designed to help them grow in their faith and understand God’s Word on a deeper level.

What if my child needs me during the worship service?

If your child needs you during the service, your alphanumeric code will appear at the bottom of the large screen in the worship center. If for some reason, you do not see it or respond, we will use your cell number to contact you.

Will I be able to see what my child is learning?

Absolutely! We want to partner with parents, so families can reinforce concepts at home. Our heart is to plant seeds of God’s great love. We have a strategy from 6 weeks – 5th grade to share God’s Word with age-appropriate activities. Our monthly newsletter (below) includes the monthly theme, memory verse, weekly Bible stories and special family activities.
