Shawn York

God gave Shawn an entrepreneurial and visionary heart, and he’s thrilled to be able to use these gifts to help people understand the incredible love of God through Jesus! When Shawn teaches, you will encounter the truth delivered in an understandable way that connects to your real-life issues and help you walk into the amazing life of fulfillment God has planned for you. Shawn and his wife, Merrily, founded Highpoint in 2020.

Ryan Van Kirk

Ryan has been in music ministry for over 25 years leading the local church in worship, and touring as a keyboardist and vocalist with contemporary Christian music artists all over the world. Ryan and his wife, Allison, and their 5 children have called Gulf Breeze their home since 2021. Ryan loves leading worship at Highpoint Church and developing musicians to use their gifts to glorify God!

Lee Farmer

Lee has served in Children's Ministry for many years and has a background in education. Lee is passionate about sharing Jesus with the next generation and equipping them to grow in their love and friendship with Him.

Josh Rodriguez

Josh has been part of Highpoint since its founding in 2020. He has been voluntarily helping with our Youth Group for several years and has decided to join our team officially. 

Kaitlyn Penaflorida

Kaitlyn recently joined Highpoint after a friend pointed her in our direction. She loves working with the children and has a heart for ministry. 

Madeline Ruffin

Madeline has been part of Highpoint since the first service in 2020. She is currently studying at Belmont University and serves Highpoint during her campus breaks.  She has a standing job offer to join us full-time after graduation!
